Our standard Stearman restoration corresponds to the original PT13-D / N2S-5 version, powered by a 225 hp Lycoming R680 engine, with a Sensenich wooden prop. The final product is a newly restored airplane with 0-time airframe, engine & prop (including warranty), registered in Standard, Aerobatic category without any limitations. Despite its original appearance this airplane is upgraded with some additional safety features like hydraulic disc brakes, an improved seatbelt system, upgraded engine and engine mount, a modern electrical system, etc. All other versions, like the 220 hp Continental W670 engine, are available on request (see also Boeing Stearman/Technical Data).
